Description
An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that wraps the FDSN Web Service Event APIs of multiple seismological datacenters (INGV, EMSC, GFZ, USGS, and other FDSN-compliant services) and provides earthquake data as JSON to MCP clients such as Claude Desktop. The server communicates over stdio (JSON-RPC 2.0) and uses ObsPy to query any FDSN-compliant datacenter. It exposes six tools: event search (compact tabular output), single-event detail, arrivals, magnitudes, origins, and focal mechanisms. An optional mcpo wrapper exposes the same tools as an OpenAPI/REST endpoint for OpenWebUI.
